Born in Monopoli (Southern Italy), with a family name often heard
in Italian artistic and literary milieus and abroad (his father is one of the most
appreciated Italian poets and his U.S. relations includes the Angelopianoduo, performing
their wide repertory all around the world), since 1985
he has taken oboe, then piano lessons, for six years.
He starts playing electric bass guitar in
1995, with a remarkable number of regional groups.
In 1997, he undertakes his classical
music studies at "Nino Rota" Conservatorio in Monopoli (Bari), with the talented
Professor "Maestro Michele Cellaro".
At the same time he attends the "Univerity of Music" and "Percento musica",
in Rome, where he has the opportunity to attend the courses held by talented and
well known musicians, such as Massimo Moriconi (bass), Luca Pirozzi
(bass), Michelle Audisso (theory),
Andrea Avena
(arrangement).
He also attends many clinics with (among others)

Patitucci, Harvie Swartz,
Alain Caron,
Gene Jackson, Joelle Leandre, Franco Petracchi, Ermanno
Ferrari, Bruno Tommaso.
